Brown County Mountain Biking (BCMB) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting and promoting mountain biking in Brown County, Indiana.

The organization works in partnership with local and state land managers to build, maintain, and improve sustainable trail systems, particularly within Brown County State Park.

BCMB’s efforts are made possible through the support of local sponsors and strong collaboration with town, county, and state government agencies. Through volunteer trail work, fundraising, and community events, BCMB helps ensure safe, high-quality riding experiences for bikers of all skill levels while encouraging environmental stewardship and responsible trail use.

The Board

The Board consists of volunteers from the region who are passionate about mountain biking and who strive to advocate for trails, connect with local the local community, and build  membership and support for the organization.

Events

Each year, Brown County Mountain Biking hosts the Brown County Epic, a festival, ride, and fundraiser for the trails. More frequent rides and casual races are in the works, stay tuned!

Trail Work

We work with volunteers and local trail builders to build and maintain the trails in our region. We have monthly workdays at Brown County State Park, typically the last Saturday and Sunday of each month.

FAQs

  • Brown County Mountain Biking includes all of Brown County State Park, as well as biking trails in surrounding areas such as Yellowwood State Forest and Hoosier National Forest.

  • BCMB is an independent 501 (3) C non-profit organization. We are not an affiliate of Hoosier Mountain Bike Association, but we do collaborate with MTB organizations and support the continued growth of regional mountain biking opportunities.
